These are a couple of lullabies that are favorites in my house. I wanted to share them with you all.

The 2-song album is free if you would like to download it and play in your own home.

The first track is a song I sing to my boys every night at bedtime.
I originally heard it on a record by Fess Parker (of Disney's Davy Crockett fame). Inevitably, every time I sing it to my boys, it chokes me up.

It reminds me of how special childhood is and how hard it can be to remember, as adults, the wonder and possibility that life holds.
Here's to the joy our kids bring, and the hope that they can take us along and remind us to experience that hope and joy that is still to be found even now, as often grumpy and too-mature adults.

The second track is an instrumental song I wrote for my son, Golden.
It conjures up the feelings I have for him: the joy of watching him grow, along with the sadness of knowing he will one day be too big for me to hold in my arms.

Watching my boys get older is such a beautiful thing, but it breaks my heart at the same time. I wish they could stay little forever.

I hope you enjoy these songs as much as I enjoy playing them for my own boys.
